A Human Rights Based Evaluation of the Croatian Asylum System in the Context of Europeanization
Abstract
This paper evaluates the asylum system in Croatia in the context of Europeanisation. It uses a human rights based asse¬ssment to analyse and evaluate the shortcomings in the system. The¬se shortcomings are then attributed to either ‘indigenous’ Croatian provisions or to the provisions ‘inherited’ through the process of Eu¬ropeanisation. The cumulative findings are translated into practical recommendations on how to improve the Croatian asylum system.Downloads
